
Tom O. Turner
Chief Executive Officer
Turner is responsible for leading the affairs of Pisces Capital Group, which he founded in 2008. His direction includes sourcing opportunities, structuring acquisitions, coordinating due diligence efforts, negotiating terms, executing investments, working closely with management teams during the investment period, and assisting with the realization of returns. Prior to forming Pisces Capital Group, Turner was an Associate Director of Corporate Planning & Development at TETCO, Inc. from 2007 to 2008. From 2005 to 2007, Turner was an Associate at the Chicago-based private equity firm Willis Stein & Partners, where he focused on leveraged buyouts in the manufacturing, industrial, and healthcare sectors. From 2003 to 2005, Turner was an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Wachovia Securities. Turner has participated in over $1 billion worth of lower and middle-market acquisitions and divestitures as an investment banker, principle investor, and corporate strategic acquirer.
Turner holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Politics, cum laude, from Washington & Lee University. A devoted public servant, Turner was appointed to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners in April 2009 by Governor Rick Perry.
Houston Frost
Vice President
Frost is responsible for directing the internal operations of the firm. This includes sourcing investment opportunities, building detailed financial models and valuation metrics, leading due diligence efforts, negotiating terms and financings, and executing exit opportunities. Prior to joining Pisces Capital Group in 2009, Frost was an Associate in the Fixed Income Strategy Group at J.P. Morgan in New York, where he provided strategy to clients for the Mortgage-Backed Securities Group and later for the U.S. Treasuries and Interest Rate Derivatives Team. Frost received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Doctorate in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Northwestern University. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, the Journal of Physical Chemistry (B and C), Langmuir, and Fluid Phase Equilibria, and remains active in the academic community.
